Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton was born in Ripley, Surrey in the year 1945.
Ironically, He born about Fifteen miles away from other
guitar gods Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. Clapton first hit
the music scene playing guitar for the Yardbirds.
Eric loved the blues, so when the Yardbirds started to
play a more pop than blues, he quit the band. His next
and was the very successful Cream. After that he started
the equally successful Blind Faith. Then, he release
'Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs' with Derek and
the Dominos. After all that, Clapton went solo. His
favorite Strat is "blackie". It is a combination of a
"handful" of guitars he bought in Nashville. Now he has
his own signature strat made by Fender.

Jeff Beck

As a said earlier, Jeff was born about fifteen miles away
from Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. He is said to be as
tasteful as Clapton, as innovative as Page and as visionary
as Hendrix. But he has never achieved the success as any
of them. Beck stepped into the lead guitarist spot
in the Yardbirds that Clapton left. He quit the band two
years later. A year later he formed the Jeff Beck Group.
The singer for the band was Rod Stewart. Stewart left the
band in 1970 and the band broke up. A year later, Jeff
formed a new Jeff Beck group. After that he went solo.
Sense then, he has won two Grammies and played with
meny other musicians like Jimmy Page, Mick Jagger, and
Stevie Ray Vaughan. He now has his own Fender Strat
signature model.
